Project themes

Hi everyone,

like we discussed in class you have to choose one theme for your project and the first thing I'm
asking is for you to lay down your different elements on one page in their respective proportions.
This is NOT a drawing contest and I will not pay attention to how well drawn your elements are.
All I want is to see clearly what we are dealing with. These will be the elements you will have to play with in order to get a solid plan for your image.Your characters don't have to be portrayed in
the exact pose you will use in the final image. Also, you should be spending more time searching images for inspiration than actually drawing.

Here are the themes, followed by the elements needed and generic keywords for mood:

1.VIGILANTE

Hero, Warehouse (This obviously involves more than one elements), Bad Guy Down.

*Strong pose, powerful super hero.

2.SEA BEAST

Hero, Boat, Beast, Waves.

*Epic adventure

3.CASTLE OF BLOOD

Monster, Castle, Victim, Fire

*Gothic horror

4.ESCAPE

Hero, Prison, Searchlight, Explosion

*Action thriller

5. SPACE TERROR

Hero, Alien, Spaceship, Outer space (you don't have to show me that in the lineup)

*Sci-fi mystery

So here is my lineup for an image that has nothing to do with the themes above:

  1. I have a question :)
Does we have to stick 100% to ALL of the elements of one theme?
Like, for example, if we would take the Castle with monster, those it HAS to be an "horror" scene? Could we go for... say, a friendly monster, or "simply" a terror/thriller scene? :)
