Turtle Texture and boat color
Working on turtle texturing, almost done. I also tried mouth variation and different shell shape. Haven't tone down sky saturation yet....
Trying different value too, I feel the turtle head is too dark
I feel the boat color should be more bluish to reflect the sea color, but red/warmish color makes it pop. Not sure what to do:
I like the 1st one and I think the pointy shell is more interesting. I like the texture of shell. I made a quick paintover of the head turned towards the viewer and the more I look at this the more I'm wondering what role does the torch play in this scene. It's not dark enough I think to really create a nice contrast. Maybe I'm wrong but check my paintover with the girl also helping to get more speed.
